Charlie had a good day on his actual 1st birthday. He woke up to mom and dad singing "Happy Birthday" to him, was introduced to some of his gifts, went to daycare to play with his friends for a couple of hours, I picked him up and we went to his Kindermusik class (which is one of his most favorite things to do), and then we hung out at home for a little mommy and son time. After his nap, his Babo came over and Charlie got to eat his first birthday cake. It was pretty funny to watch. He just licked it at first and then dove right in. Here are some pics:
