And, We're Back!
After a week in Shreveport we are now back in Dallas. Charlie and I left last Wed. and met the Leclercq family in Shreveport for a week of fun. On Friday Julie, Manny and I left out babies with our parents, our 3 aunts, our 2 cousins and their 4 children, to go to a wedding in New Orleans for the weekend. (Patrick flew and met us in N.O.) It was our first time to leave the babies and overall, I think we all did pretty well. All of the babies had a great time with their grandparents and family (minus not sleeping very well). Thank you to everyone who watched them! We had a great time in New Orleans and yall made it even better knowing that our little ones were being well cared for!
Here are a few pics from the fun wedding:

Meanwhile, back in Shreveport... the triplets have been on a 4X/day feeding schedule for some time now. Charlie has been on a 5X/day feeding schedule. This made it pretty difficult for the aunts and mom to keep track of, so they decided to just switch Charlie to the triplets schedule and... he did GREAT! (I was going to try and drop the 5th feeding pretty soon anyways, so this was all OK with me.) Charlie is now taking 7.5 oz at 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm! He then goes down and sleeps for 12-13 hours!! (A couple of times this week he has slept until 7:30 and 8am.) We are so proud of him! Here are a few pics from his fun in Shreveport:
All of the cousins

Uncle Connor

Uncle Dave

Fun in the Jumperoo (we aren't quite big enough for it yet)

There are more fun pics on my sister's and aunt's cameras... when I get them I will add them onto the blog.

And... we're IN!
If you remember the post about our "Daycare Delima", then you remember that our preferred daycare (that I had put our name on the waiting list a year in advance) had all filled up and that we were searching for other childcare options. We thought we had it all figured out... but upon closer inspection of contract to the new daycare we would have to agree to pay "X" amount of dollars for the next 10 months no matter what. This made me hesitate on getting our application in (especially since it was the priciest of daycares)... and I am so glad that I hesitated!! Earlier this week I emailed the director of the Lake Highlands Christian Childhood Enrichment Center just to double check that there was still no way of us getting in by August and to my surprise they called back with a spot for Charlie! We are thrilled... the daycare is literally right outside our backyard and tons of our friends go there. In fact, Charlie will start off in the same room as one of his little buddies that lives down the street. We are all super excited that the daycare situation has worked itself out!!

Charlie's in Trouble!
Guess what the little man did today? He rolled over for the first time!! From his back to front, no less. Guess where I was? Work! I couldn't believe that I missed it. I was really sad about it. But, I was so happy for him. Of course, he had no interest is showing off his new skill when I got home, but Ann said he did it a couple of times this morning. He has been turning onto his side to sleep lately, so it was only a matter of time. I can't wait to witness it first hand!!

Back to Work
I am back to work... just for the week, though. I cried about it last night and again when I left the house this morning. I know, I know... it's just one week!! (Until August, at least). But, once I got to work it really was fine. I know that Charlie is being well taken care of by his Babo (Patrick's mom... thank-you Ann!) and I also now know that work will be fine when I have to go back for real. Speaking of... I found out my schedule for next year. I'll be working Mondays, Wednesdays and every other Friday. I think this is best-case scenario. I'll still have lots of time with Charlie and I will be contributing to our families' funds. And I'll be doing it on teacher's hours! I pretty much have the perfect job to be able to do that. And the best husband for letting me do that... thanks Patrick!
About the Mastitis... it's MUCH better. No more fever, chills and aches! And the hurt parts on my body are getting better every day. Thanks to those who have asked!
