Collier is an active, little bug these days. His arms are always flailing and his legs constantly jumping. He has mastered sitting independently... I am going to soak this in as I know he will be on-the-move in no time! He has gotten up on all fours a couple of times, so crawling is right around the corner. Collier's babbling has improved and now consists of lots of squeals with some /b/'s and /d/'s thrown in. He is still so smiley and is still super chill, only crying when his belly hurts or when he is over-tired. Hunger and dirty diapers aren't that big of a deal to him... he might let out a little whimper to one of these. Collier is digging all sorts of foods... today he had cantaloupe oatmeal, apricot carrots, and green beans with curry in them! We are continually experimenting with textures, tastes, and temperatures with his food. He seems to like it all. His favorite person these days seems to be Hank. Collier laughs and stares and stares and laughs at Hank... pretty cute to watch!

Spicewood- June 2012
The boys and I headed to Spicewood for a week recently. Lots of swim time, golfing, baseball, golf cart rides and swinging was to be had. Thanks to Babo (and Pops) for letting us crash for the week!

Arboretum Concerts
Patrick and I went last Thursday to Petty Theft (Tom Petty tribute band) for a date night. This Thursday we went with friends to see Key West (Jimmy Buffet tribute band). You take a picnic, wine, blanket and listen to fun music... it's the best!
Collier learned to hold his bottle last night!! (Just for a bit.)
Fun with Wilson Gill and Charles Boyd. (Miles Gill didn't make it in this pic.)
Due to this sleepy head we left a little early. (9pm is late in his book, though!)
The Chihuly Exhibit at night is more than an added bonus!
And, guess who we ran into on our way out??? President Bush and Laura. (I guess they like Jimmy Buffet tunes!) They passed by us in golf carts and George said "How ya doin?" to us. One of the secret service commented on Charlies' LSU hat as well. I didn't get any pics, as it all went down super fast, but it was pretty exciting!
Swim Lessons
Charlie began swim lessons at Lake Highlands Rec Center... not the fanciest, but at $30 for a 2 week session by far the cheapest. And, I feel like he is actually learning stuff! I don't expect him to be able to full on swim at the end, but think this is a great start!

Lake Texoma
This pretty much sums up our trip! LOTS of pool time, boat time on the lake, bounce house fun, hot tubbin', bubble bathin', babies sleeping and splashing and tons of family togetherness and FUN! A huge thanks to my mom and dad for such an awesome trip.
Memorial Day Weekend
I feel like we have been on the go since Memorial Day weekend... lots of trip, which means lots to update. Let's start at the 3 day weekend, shall we? My whole family (Leclerq fam, mom, dad, and brother) came in town for a pre-planned photo shoot. The weekend kicked off a week long family trip to Lake Texoma, but that's for another post.
We started the weekend off by going to opening day at KayCee Pool.
On Sunday morning we went to the Arboretum for a 2 hour family shoot. If any Dallas friends are looking for a photographer, I thought Elizabeth did a great job. You can see our pics here. Which are your favorite?
Sunday afternoon was super fun. The boys (Patrick, Charlie, Manny, Cooper, Poppa, and Uncle Jay) all went to the Rangers game while the girls (me, Juls, Isabelle, Sophia, Nanna, and my Aunt Jennifer) went to get our nails done. It was Cooper's first Rangers Game and the girls' first manicure and pedicure!
When asked how it was Isabelle responded "It was awesome!".
