Girls Night Out

Some of my high school friends came in town this past weekend for a "mom's night away".  We dined at Nobu and then spent the night at Hotel Zaza.  (As Patrick said "Y'all are so 2002.")  It was such a fun night.  A huge shout out to my husband who not only watched our 2 boys, but also Julie's triplets while my mom took on baby Mason.

Watercolor 2011

I spent Memorial Day weekend with some of my all-time favorite friends. My highschool friends do an annual trip, usually to Watercolor/Seaside area. This year 8 out of the 12 were able to make it and 4 out of the 8 were pregnant. Definitely a different trip! But, much needed R&R was had. Thanks Patrick for being the single parent for the long weekend!

What a Weekend

I enjoyed a very enjoyable, much-to-quick, weekend in Sonoma with my college girlfriends. The views where unbeatable:

The company was some of my most favorite:

And the meals where some of the best I've ever eaten:

Now, back to reality:

Check out my friend, Molly's blog, for a complete run-down of the trip. And my friend, Carrie's, for some interesting conversations that took place over the weekend.

P.S.- Thank you to Julie for taking Charlie to Shreveport for the weekend. And thanks to my family for keeping him happy and safe!

Labor Day

My Labor Day was fantastic! I got to spend a long weekend with 10 of my closest girlfriends from high school in Watercolor, FL! Some of our friendships range back 27 years and the most recent of our friendships began 18 years ago. We are truly blessed to still be able to call one another "best" friends.
Thank you to our husbands who continuely encourage/let us go on this much-needed trip every year. Thank you to our parents and in-laws who very kindly help us out with baby duty. Thank you to our friend, Misty, who found us a free place to stay this year. And, thank you to the drivers, cooks, cleaners, and friends who made this trip such a fun one!

Until next year!
