Way to go, daddy!

Patrick ran his 2nd half marathon on Sunday, The Dallas Rock n' Roll. It was awesome weather and he knew the landmarks, so I'd say it was better than his first go around in OKC. And, we made it better because we could come out and support him. We found an awesome spot at around mile 8.5 at the corner of Mockingbird and Skillman right in front of a donut store.



Patrick finished in 1:41:59.... just 1 second under his goal of 1:42. Way to go, babe! We are super proud of you.

Happy Birthday Patrick!

Yesterday was Patrick's birthday. Since it was Veteran's Day and he works at a bank, he got the day off! And, since I never work on Thursdays we got to spend the day together. We started off the day going to Taco Joint for yummy breakfast tacos. (Best in Dallas if you ask me.) We took Charlie to daycare and went to work out at the YMCA. And then, we did something we never get to do, and went and watched a movie in the middle of the day! "Due Date" was the movie that the birthday boy wanted to see... pretty funny I must say. We split up for the afternoon. Patrick went to get his friend, Asa, from the airport. I met up with Jessica and Johnette at the Arboretum to celebrate Olivia's 2nd birthday. (Happy Birthday Olivia!!) For dinner, we went to Picasso's as a family. This is also something we never get to do ionce Patrick usually doesn't get home from work until 7ish, which happens to be Charlie's bed time. Race for the Cure

This Saturday was Race for the Cure. It's crazy how many people come out for it! Such a great event. Patrick ran it in under 20 minutes! (Super fast!) And Charlie enjoyed the treats. Chocolate for breakfast? I think I will:

Father's Day Breakfast

The weekend started off with a Friday morning breakfast of "Donuts with Dad" at daycare. Since I missed "Muffins with Mom" (we were in Spicewood) over Mother's Day, I tagged along.

For the weekend we headed to OKC to spend one last weekend in the Leclercq's house that they have sold and are moving out of next Wednesday! The weekend stay turned into a week stay for Charlie and I. It was apparent over the weekend that they needed all sorts of help with packing, childcare, and meeting with various workmen. Jen and Charles to the rescue! More pics to follow of our busy week!
