OKC

The weekend before Memorial Day Patrick went to Charleston for a buddies bachelor party. So, Charlie and I went to OKC for the weekend. It was a fun filled weekend with a lot of parties. The kids had a blast playing together. Unfortunately, I was really bad about taking pictures, but we did manage to get this one:
The kids headed out on the town on a Friday night!

OKC

The weekend before Thanksgiving was the one weekend of the year that Patrick would be out of town. (He was in a wedding in Bainbridge, GA.... aka: his "guys" weekend.) So, Charles and I decided to go visit the Leclercq's. We hadn't been there since mid summer when they had just moved into their new house. This time around it was like walking into a larger, much cleaner house. It's amazing what paint will do! Julie had a list of projects for us to work on which included painting some rooms, making a chandelier, making a wreath and rearranging objects in the house. In between all of that we took the kids to the park and on some shopping expeditions. I only got a few pics...

Another week in OKC

The Leclercq clan has recently moved into a new house, so Charlie and I went up last week to help in any way possible. On Wed. I spent the day (sort of) unpacking... except that in the new environment Charlie didn't allow for much work to get done. On Thursday I stripped a bedroom of it's wallpaper. On Firday, I went to Home Depot to collect items for their upcoming garage sale. I also got to go eat lunch with Jul's, which was a much needed break. On Saturday we held the garage sale and decided that we should start ripping up carpet in the living room. On top of all this, I also had baby duty every day from 2-5:30ish (the nannies where there from 9am-1pm every day). Julie and Manny closed on the house Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon the downstairs air condition was out. We spent the weekend in an 85 degree house (miserable). At least the upstairs AC was working. So, not many pictures where taken, but the ones I got are pretty good. The house has a great new play room upstairs.

A week in OKC

Here's how the week went down: On Monday all of the babies went to Mother's Day Out. They were nice enough to let Charlie "drop-in" for the day. He couldn't be in the triplets class because it was full, but still had a great day. It was quite interesting picking up 4 babies, a backpack, a lunchbag, and 4 napmats. When we got home we all had a grand time playing in the pod:
On Tuesday Julie's nannies (I say this in the plural sense because Julie had a fabulous nanny who also bring her 3 daughters to help watch the babies... they are ALL super helpful) took the kids to the zoo for the day. On this day, the Leclercq's were getting a new roof and it was so loud that the house was shaking... good thing the babies weren't there. On Wednesday I got all 4 babies to myself! We hit up the park in the morning. I contained them by putting them all into a pack and play so that I could do a shoe round-up:

The park was short lived because there was broken glass and Charlie was trying to eat it.

I got a workout in by lugging four humans up and down hills to and from the park.

We got our groove on:

The babies "helped" me pack up more stuff from the house.

And we played and played. The house was a wreck when Manny came home, but the babies were all alive... mission accomplished! That night we went to see Julie and Manny's (hope-to-be) new house... it is a GREAT one. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, over 3,000 square feet... much better space for a family of five! On Thursday the nannies came again. I got to go to lunch with Julie and Manny and then go check out Manny's new Texadelphia that is in the process of being built. I can't wait to see it when it's finished! Thanks to Jessica for bringing Charlie and I back home!!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a fun filled weekend. On Saturday, we hung out with the babies at home, took them all swimming and then had a sitter come for the night so that we could go to a "fancy" dinner. On Sunday we took the babies to the zoo. First stop was the splash pools. Charlie LOVED it~ he was drenched! No one thought to bring a change of clothes for any of the babies, so they were in wet clothes all day. At least it kept them cool!
How do you travel with 4 babies... use the choo choo wagon!

We took the babies to see the birds, but left quickly when Sophia and Julie freaked out.

Dads and babies checking out the butterflies.

Happy Father's Day! Here, you are of charge of the kids.

We switched Cooper and Charlie's seating arrangement. Charlie got in the choo choo and Cooper passed out in the stroller.

When we got back from the zoo, we gave everyone a quick bath. Here is a nice one of Sophia in her birthday suit.

Everyone on the couch!

Happy Father's Day to two of the best fathers I know! Here are Manny and the trips:

OKC Visit #2

Charlie and I decided to go up to see the Leclercq's this week. We are all trying to get the kids to sleep through the night at this time, so it was interesting trying to regulate feeding and nap schedules. But, Charlie impressed everyone by sleeping 8 hrs. straight without budging. And, he was even in the same room with the babies who were up at all times during the night. (He also slept for another 8 hrs. last night at home, so maybe we are in the home stretch!) Since the Leclercq's regularly weigh the triplets, Charlie got to take a ride on the scale... he is now up to 11 lbs. 4oz! We had a great time, but as always, I am reminded how simple and easy we have it with just one baby! Here are some pics from the trip:

We took all of the babies on an outing to lunch.

Cousin play time!
